Boutique Bathing

Bathing at Penhein

We’re rather proud of our bathing arrangements, with every tent having its own dedicated shower or bath. It may not sound all that romantic, but even our shower block and drying room are a little slice of home-away-from-home heaven in the woods…

SHOWER BLOCK

Wood clad on the outside with a Mandarin Stone tiled interior and sumptuous underfloor heating, the shower block is home to four hot monsoon showers, beautiful Belfast sinks, and a flushing loo. The ultimate (and somewhat unexpected) luxury, though, is a glorious roll-top bath to revive and rejuvenate at the end of a long day outside. This is allocated to the tent called The Coombe. The showerblock also has electric sockets for the all important hairdryers and the personal touch of mirrors above the basins.

OUTDOOR SHOWERS

We are fortunate that all our tents have already been set up to be self-contained in that each has its own ensuite, flushing loo.  Three of our tents also have their own personal enclosed shower unit just outside their door (Cae Solomon, Castroggi and The Park).

DRYING ROOM

Whilst we’d all like to pretend we live in a tropical paradise, sometimes it does rain – even in sunny Wales on a glamping holiday. Should you get caught short by a sudden downpour whilst out and about, hang wet clothes and walking boots in our specially-made drying room. They’ll dry off overnight ready for another day of adventuring.
