Boutique Bathing

Shower Block & Drying Room

We’re rather proud of these two. They may not sound all that romantic, but our shower block and drying room are a little slice of home-away-from-home heaven in the woods…

Wood clad on the outside with a Mandarin Stone tiled interior and sumptuous underfloor heating, the shower block is home to four hot monsoon showers, beautiful Belfast sinks, and a flushing loo. The ultimate (and somewhat unexpected) luxury, though, is a glorious roll-top bath to revive and rejuvenate at the end of a long day outside (for further information on the use of the roll-top bath during Covid-19, please see below).

Covid-19 Changes

We are fortunate that all our tents have already been set up to be self-contained in that each has its own ensuite, flushing loo so no need to share these facilities. To ensure that each tent also has its own washing facilities we have allocated each one its own dedicated shower or bath so that it is fully ‘self-contained’, hence reducing the risk of cross-contamination.  The allocation is as follows:

  • The Coombe – roll-top bath in shower block
  • The Park – enclosed shower unit next to the tent
  • The Oakes – shower in shower block
  • The Cribbau– shower in shower block
  • Catta Dee– shower in shower block
  • The Slades– shower in shower block

Whilst we’d all like to pretend we live in a tropical paradise, sometimes it does rain – even in sunny Wales on a glamping holiday. Should you get caught short by a sudden downpour whilst out and about, hang wet clothes and walking boots in our specially-made drying room. They’ll dry off overnight ready for another day of adventuring.
