Set in secluded woodland and surrounded by acres of glorious Monmouthshire countryside, with no WiFi and no TV on site, you can switch off and leave the daily grind behind. Whatever your route to relaxation, we’ve got it covered…
Channel your inner Heathcliff and stride out together for a hearty walk to take in the view from the top of Grey Hill before settling in for a picnic in our wildflower meadow. If you want some pampering we can arrange relaxation treatments with our on-site therapists. Choose your remedy from an indulgent menu that includes soothing facials and restorative massages.
Our alachigh tents provide a beautiful bolthole for two. Custom-made for glamping, they are cosy and warm, and decorated in a simple yet elegant style, with all the charm of a boutique hotel bedroom. There are proper beds made up in cotton sheets and quilted bedspreads, a fully kitted out kitchen with running water, and a fully flushing en-suite loo. What sets them apart, though, is the skylight view from your pillow. Bed down at night to a sky full of stars and wake up to freshly-brewed tea or coffee made on the wood-burning stove. Three of our tents also have their private and own enclosed, private shower immediately outside the door (with hot water and monsoon showerhead) and a large hammock for shared relaxation.
Join us and take some time to enjoy the freedom from your daily routine, as you prop up your pillows and watch the clouds skitting by overhead or set off on an adventure made for two around the farm or in the stunning Forest of Dean and Wye Valley nearby.
