What's New at Penhein

We’re Open! Find out what’s in store for guests this season!

March 28, 2025

It’s here! The start of the 2025 season at Penhein, and we’re already bursting with new life, with the early arrival of our first lamb and spring flowers popping up everywhere we look!  It’s a busy start as we are opening to a full house, with a group of girls planning outdoor adventures staying for our first weekend. The weather is glorious and looks as if it is going to stay that way until Easter. Hooray! We still have a few spaces left for the Easter holidays and there is also the chance to win a FREE stay at Penhein. So read on….

Win a holiday at Penhein

In support of our chosen chartity, The National Autistic Society, and to celebrate World Autsim Month starting on 2nd April, we have set up a raffle to win a FREE four night mid week or three night weekend stay at Penhein. All proceeds go to the NAS. To enter simply go to our raffle page and purchase your tickets. Tickets costs £2.50, with no minimum numbers, plus there is a buy four get one free offer (£10 for five tickets). Entries close at midnight 30th April 2025. T&Cs apply.

Lambing Live Underway!

lambing lambing lambing

We were caught rather off guard by the very early arrival of our first lamb, a tiny but feisty welcome to Spring! Lambing Live is now well underway, with twins and triplets abounding! For those of you staying with us over Easter we still have a few spaces left in our Lambing Live sessions so, if you would like to join us, just get in touch and we can see if we can fit you in!

Introducing….. Hearn the Troll

Something magical has been brewing in the woodlands at Penhein, and it’s finally here… meet Hearn the Troll, a beautifully crafted children’s tale, written by our very own Sophie Littlejohns – our children’s activity leader and now author! Inspired by the hidden corners of Penhein and the creatures that call it home, Sophie’s storytelling and Sam Lewis-Burns’ enchanting illustrations bring Hearn the Troll’s world to life. We are beyond proud of Sophie’s creativity and can’t wait to share this tale with you. Hearn the Troll is now avaible via the Penhein Pantry or guests can pre-order for their arrival.

Wonderful Words

media

We are always so grateful when we gain unexpected media coverage and this March has beeen no different, with mentions in the Conde Nast Traveller on line magazine, The Guardian and The Daily Telegraph. It makes a huge difference to our wonderful Penhein team and gives us belief in ourselves. A lovely way to come into the 2025 season!
