Penhein’s Producers
Producers
We source small, Welsh, independent producers who share our ecological values:
- Honey comes from the hives on our farm, which are managed by Hive Mind Mead who are based in our local town Caldicot
- We stock our own pork and lamb. However if we need a top up, we use an excellent local butcher in Chepstow who can source all his meat back to the farm on which it was reared
- Our fabulous ice-cream comes from Brookes Dairy in the nearby Wye Valley, who only use milk from their own herd of Jersey cows
- Welsh Farmhouse Apple Juice is produced by the Morris family on their farm in Crickhowell and each bottle is made from just one variety of apple, resulting in a range of flavours dependent on the variety of apple
- Our frozen meals are prepared by Myfwanny of Myf’s Kitchen, based in Abergavenny, who sources high quality locally produced ingredients for her delicious home-cooked food
